About the role
- Design, implement and maintain automated test frameworks for Caseware’s web-based SaaS products
- Perform and guide functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing
- Collaborate with development and product specialists to refine user stories, acceptance criteria and testability
- Analyze requirements and technical designs to identify risk areas and critical test scenarios
- Investigate, document and track defects with clear reproduction steps and impact analysis
- Improve test coverage, test reliability, and overall QA processes
- Mentor junior SDET team members
- Advocate for quality best practices across the engineering organization
Requirements
- Medior (3–5 years) experience in QA, test automation, or SDET roles
- Proven experience testing complex web applications, preferably SaaS products
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a structured approach to problem-solving
- Hands-on experience in test automation using modern tools and frameworks, specifically Cypress
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
- Ability to write clear, maintainable and well-structured test cases and code
- Comfortable working in cross-functional, international teams
- Good coordination skills, being able to drive continuous QA-awareness within the team
- Good command of Dutch and English.
- Nice to have:
- Experience in domains such as audit, accounting, financial reporting, or compliance software
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. GitHub Actions) and Atlassian products such as Jira and Confluence
- ISTQB or other QA-related certifications
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and modern web architectures
- Experience contributing to test strategy or quality transformation initiatives
