About the role

  • Analyze transactional data to identify fraud patterns;
  • Create, review, and optimize rules in fraud detection engines;
  • Evaluate rule performance and propose continuous improvements based on identified metrics and trends;
  • Perform analyses of suspicious accounts and transactions;
  • Monitor payment flows and map vulnerabilities to approve or block transactions;
  • Monitor and analyze chargebacks, identifying root causes;
  • Proactively identify potential attacks or fraud attempts;
  • Support the creation of reports and KPIs for the team.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in Fraud Prevention, with a focus on defining metric-driven antifraud strategies;
  • Hands-on experience with antifraud tools;
  • Experience creating and maintaining analytic rules and decision engines;
  • Strong analytical skills and data interpretation;
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel / Google Sheets;
  • Intermediate English.
  • Will be a plus:
  • Knowledge of online payment methods and transactional risk.
