About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Structure, execute, and review stress tests for credit, liquidity, and market risk, considering idiosyncratic and systemic scenarios.
- Assess impacts on results, capital, liquidity, and risk appetite.
- Conduct periodic backtesting routines for risk models (e.g., PD, LGD, EAD, VaR, liquidity models).
- Evaluate model adherence, stability, predictive power, and performance.
- Document validation results and support interactions with internal and external audits.
- Develop and enhance internal predictive models using statistical, econometric, or machine learning techniques (where applicable).
- Implement and monitor performance metrics (AUC, KS, RMSE, etc.).
- Participate in updating policies, limits, risk appetite, and regulatory reports.
- Prepare technical materials for executive committees and the board.
- Support the ongoing assessment of the risk management framework.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields.
- Knowledge of risk types: credit, liquidity, and market.
- Previous experience in risk management, treasury, controllership, audit, or compliance.
- Experience with stress testing, backtesting, and model validation.
- Statistical and predictive modeling (Python, SQL, Power BI, advanced Excel).
