About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and develop the Compliance and AML team, fostering a culture of integrity, collaboration and high performance;
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies, Central Bank requirements and other applicable regulatory bodies;
  • Oversee anti–money laundering and counter–terrorist financing (AML/CFT) processes, including KYC/KYP/KYS, monitoring, investigations, product risk assessments and other applicable controls;
  • Coordinate and execute third‑party due diligence processes and compliance reviews;
  • Assess regulatory, reputational and money‑laundering risks in relationships with customers, partners and suppliers;
  • Support business areas with clear, practical guidance, acting as a strategic partner in decision‑making;
  • Lead initiatives to continuously improve policies, procedures and controls, ensuring efficiency and alignment with market best practices;
  • Ensure delivery and ongoing development of Compliance and AML training, strengthening internal awareness and culture;
  • Support internal/external audits and regulatory inspections, ensuring the quality of information and responses;
  • Manage incidents and case handling, reporting to senior management and relevant stakeholders;
  • Actively contribute to strategic company projects, ensuring Compliance requirements are incorporated from design through implementation.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Knowledge of KYC, KYP and KYS processes;
  • Critical mindset and strong analytical skills for risk assessment and decision‑making;
  • Knowledge of Central Bank regulations, with emphasis on Resolution No. 522 and Circular No. 3,978;
  • Advanced English;
  • Previous experience in the payments industry.
