About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

*As a Software Engineering Coordinator you will:*
Inspire continuous self-development so people form agile, high-performance teams of excellence capable of consistently delivering meaningful customer value through software;
Promote that software quality is paramount. Be obsessive in the pursuit of quality throughout the entire software development lifecycle. It is not enough to find bugs in the software; we seek practices to build software without defects;
Lead the team in designing technical solutions, following the best architectural approaches for each context;
Act as an enabler for business areas, fostering constructive discussions and guiding toward the best solutions;
Pursue agility in software delivery, understanding that automation and modern development practices are the way forward;
Lead and develop squads with high technical standards so everyone follows a clear path of growth and development;
Maintain fluid collaboration within the team and across the organization;
Serve as a facilitator for teams in the organization so they have the necessary conditions to achieve their short-, medium- and long-term goals;
Manage the software lifecycle by defining maintenance, modernization and replacement cycles;
Ensure the software maintains flexible and adaptable design, structure and integrations with a high level of maintainability;
Ensure the software delivers strong resilience and maximum availability with minimal operational support;

Requirements

What you’ll need

*For this challenge we need you to have:*
Experience in software development, especially with Java and Spring technologies;
Experience leading development teams, providing feedback and handling difficult conversations, managing careers and building Individual Development Plans (IDPs);
Knowledge of delivery metrics and high-performance teams;
Experience with agile development processes (Scrum, Kanban, XP);
Knowledge of software architecture and development best practices;
Experience developing RESTful APIs;
Knowledge of observability/monitoring (Datadog or similar);
Knowledge of Cloud Computing (Azure / AWS);
Additionally, it will be a plus if you have:
Experience in the payments industry, especially fraud prevention topics;
Experience with Machine Learning and Big Data;
Experience with DevSecOps, NoOps and Platform Engineering;
Knowledge of 3DS;
