About the role

  • Work on data projects in partnership with Elo's internal teams, acting as a Data Business Partner (DBP)
  • Conduct interviews with business areas to understand requirements and translate them into data solutions
  • Create and maintain ETL/ELT processes following data engineering best practices
  • Monitor and ensure data accuracy in production processes on AWS Redshift
  • Prepare technical specifications and maintain clear, up-to-date documentation of data processes
  • Develop dashboards and data visualizations to support decision-making, using tools such as Power BI and Tableau
  • Collaborate with the technical team, contributing solutions and best practices
  • Support the dissemination of a data-driven culture at Elo, promoting the appropriate use of analytical tools

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
  • Strong experience with SQL
  • Knowledge of data modeling and Datamart design
  • Experience with AWS services, especially Athena, Redshift, S3 and EMR
  • Logical reasoning to design analytical solutions, solve complex problems and apply logic in data models and processes
  • Practical experience with dbt (Data Build Tool) for orchestration and versioning of analytical models
  • Experience with GitHub for version control and collaboration
  • Knowledge of Python
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Ability to document processes and pipelines in a clear and accessible way
  • Business acumen to translate business needs into data solutions
  • Clear communication skills to promote a data culture and guide diverse audiences
