About the role

  • Lead strategic efforts to drive revenue growth and forge high-value partnerships
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to expand Cart.com’s footprint
  • Form consultative relationships with Brands & prospects to introduce Supply Chain services
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities
  • Drive customer retention and upselling efforts
  • Negotiate complex contracts and agreements
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in business development or sales leadership roles
  • Proven ability to develop and execute business growth strategies in the eCommerce and 3PL industries
  • Deep understanding of the eCommerce ecosystem, including platforms, supply chain logistics, and fulfillment processes
  • Experience in using CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot) to manage pipelines and track performance metrics
  • Experience managing a multi-million-dollar sales pipeline and achieving or exceeding revenue targets
  • Certifications in sales leadership or business development methodologies (nice to have)
