About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze the needs of internal clients and translate them into technical solutions
Design, develop and maintain software using a LAMP stack
Build and maintain APIs, integrations and internal tools
Use AI-assisted development tools such as Claude.ai to improve productivity, debugging, documentation and test coverage
Review, validate and secure AI-generated code before it is used
Design and develop in accordance with established best practices, coding standards and security guidelines

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years experience working as a Full Stack PHP web developer
Strong applied knowledge of PHP, SQL and relational database design
Experience working on a Linux platform
Applied knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, jQuery, AJAX and JSON
Experience developing and consuming APIs
Knowledge of Git and Composer
Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude.ai, ChatGPT or GitHub Copilot
Bonus: Located in Montreal area
Experience in the automotive industry.
Experience with Agentic Development
Experience with observability tooling, production monitoring, and incident management.
Experience with AI-assisted software development tools in a governed enterprise setting.
Experience in high-availability consumer-facing web platforms.
Bilingual in French and English.
