About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute comprehensive aftermarket sourcing strategies aligned with Carrier’s growth objectives
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 3 procurement professionals
- Collaborate with sales, operations, product management, and finance to identify sourcing opportunities and address supply chain challenges
- Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships
- Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and risk factors to inform sourcing decisions
- Implement and monitor procurement KPIs
- Support new product introductions and aftermarket service offerings through sourcing and supplier engagement
- Drive process improvements, cost reduction initiatives, and value engineering projects
- Ensure compliance with Carrier policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of procurement or sourcing experience in the HVAC or industrial aftermarket sector
- Proven leadership experience managing teams and delivering results in a fast-paced environment
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and project management experience
- Experience with procurement methodologies, should costing, RFQs, and contracts
- Master’s degree preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
