About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Inspect and maintain air-conditioning and HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical malfunctions in heating and cooling units
Install, replace, and calibrate HVAC equipment, including thermostatic controls and liquid lines
Service refrigeration equipment including refrigerators, ice machines, gas packs, and heat pumps
Maintain chilled and hot water supply systems and adjust internal control systems
Assemble and install metal ductwork and assist in HVAC system planning and design
Maintain detailed maintenance records to ensure compliance with City, State, and EPA regulations
Identify and mitigate risks to maintain a safe working environment
Collaborate with management to support safety and operational standards
Provide expert, quality commercial HVAC service in the field

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years practical working experience in the HVAC Industry
Ability to push, pull, and lift 50 lbs
EPA Universal certification
Ability to stand, crawl, sit, squat for extended periods, climb a ladder, and work on rooftops
High School Diploma/GED
Valid and current driver’s license
Must be insurable by the company’s insurance carrier
Basic understanding of building automation controls
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience using Salesforce and ServiceMax is a plus
1+ year of practical working experience with air- or water-cooled chillers
OSHA 10 certification
