About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and nurture long-term strategic relationships with building owners, mechanical contractors, and consulting engineers
Manage an assigned account portfolio and identify high-potential prospects
Conduct business development activities to support regional growth
Represent the company at trade shows and industry events
Uncover building and system inefficiencies through client needs analysis
Influence specifications and system design decisions early in projects
Identify bid opportunities, prepare responses, and lead negotiations
Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Service teams
Own the transition from sale to execution
Drive the sales cycle through disciplined follow-up and proactive communication

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or GED
5+ years of experience in the HVAC/BAS Controls industry
2+ years of sales experience in the HVAC/BAS Controls industry
Valid and current Driver’s License
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
Expert knowledge of Sales, HVAC, Building Automation, and/or controls preferred
Experience selling into the BAS/HVAC Controls Industry preferred
Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and driving usage within team members preferred
Previous leadership experience and ability to lead and motivate diverse teams preferred
Ability to deliver compelling presentations to potential customers preferred
Strong interpersonal, communication, organization, and analytical skills preferred
Experience analyzing market and company data to build business strategies preferred
Proficient in Microsoft 360 applications preferred
