About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Category Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive category strategy for Aftermarket parts, aligned with the organization's overall procurement and business objectives.
  • Supplier Management: Lead supplier identification, evaluation, selection, localization, and relationship activities.
  • Negotiation and Contract Management: Negotiate favorable terms, conditions, and pricing with suppliers.
  • Cost Optimization: Implement cost reduction initiatives and continuously monitor market dynamics to capitalize on cost-saving opportunities.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their requirements and ensure alignment between procurement and business objectives.
  • Supplier Performance Management: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for suppliers, evaluate their performance regularly, and work collaboratively to address any performance issues.
  • Team Leadership: Build and lead Aftermarket assigned vendors on a high-performing cross functional team of procurement professionals.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain / Sourcing within large, international organizations, preferably in aftermarket or resales business
  • 5+ years of Advanced user knowledge in MS Excel & Word
  • 2+ years of experience in SAP and PowerBI
  • Ability to travel in North America, up to 20% (international as needed)
