About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide support and advice on all aspects of occupational health, safety, and environment for Germany services/projects/integration of acquisitions
Collaborate with senior management and other functions to achieve optimal EHS performance
Support Senior Leadership in the deployment of EHS strategies
Coach management teams to develop a deep understanding of EHS responsibilities
Oversee EHS investigations into workplace incidents
Identify EHS resource needs during project proposal phase
Manage prequalification, deployment, and safety performance of subcontractors
Produce and deliver EHS training & development programs
Conduct regular safety inspections/audits

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree or NEBOSH International Diploma in EHS, Engineering or relevant scientific/technical area
Minimum of 5 years progressive work experience in field based construction or manufacturing operations
Class A Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Specialist Certificate
Regulatory knowledge including safety, environmental and other regulatory standards applicable to building services industries and construction
Inter-personal skills with a proven ability to influence, build effective working relationships and drive cultural change with a strong willingness to learn and develop
