About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute a comprehensive category strategy for Aftermarket parts
- Lead supplier identification, evaluation, selection, and relationship management activities
- Negotiate favorable terms, conditions, and pricing with suppliers
- Implement cost reduction initiatives
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their requirements
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for suppliers
- Build and lead Aftermarket key global vendors on a high-performing cross functional team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree
- 7 + years’ experience in Supply Chain, Commodity Management or Strategic Sourcing
- 20% travel in North America
- Experience in Aftermarket Strategic Sourcing within a global manufacturing organization
- Preferable experience in Managing Commodities such as Compressors, Motors, Valves, Coils and Heat Exchanges
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft with deep knowledge in MS Excel
- Knowledge on ERP system (preferable SAP) and the usage of Power Bi Tools
- Demonstrated track record of driving significant cost savings through strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier optimization, and contract negotiation
- Strong analytical and market research skills
- Experience with creating and leading large, strategic projects with cross functional teams
- Presentation skills
