Product Owner, New Business – Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop new business models for BESS solutions aligned with customer needs, market regulations and national and regional incentive programs
- Create technical specifications and manage interfaces in close collaboration with Engineering to derive clear product requirements and user stories
- Translate country-specific requirements into product features to enable the successful rollout of front-of-the-meter applications
- Conduct market and competitive analyses including roadmaps, market trends, regulatory requirements and the international competitive landscape
- Concept and product development: derive market-ready solutions from customer needs, regulatory constraints and grid-technical requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience building new business models
- Strong technical understanding and broad expertise in BESS
- University degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related field
- Deep knowledge of product development with a customer-focused approach
- 3 years' experience in electrical building services, BESS, the stationary battery industry, sales or the renewable energy sector desirable
- Knowledge of relevant PV-storage standards, particularly regarding grid connection and grid-support requirements
- Very good German and English skills
