About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage and analyze activities in accordance with accounting principles and standards to control financial resources and compliance with regulations, laws, and reporting activities
Prepare, examine, and conform to procedures for general ledger preparation and project and/or government accounting activities
Perform monthly and quarterly close and consolidation processes to ensure timely completion and accuracy
Develop and document accounting policies, procedures, control processes, and financials
Prepare budgets and forecasts and compare budget to actual costs, ensuring budgets are adhered to
Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to accurately represent financial standing
Support internal and external audits for process compliance and timely completion
Lead small-scale projects

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience or an advanced degree/knowledge in a related field and a minimum of 3 years experience
SAP, SAC, and HFM knowledge
Strong understanding of P&L
Fluent English, both verbal and written
Minimum Bachelor Degree in related area
Candidates residing in Istanbul, preferably on the Anatolian Side
