About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Configure and support FI components including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and Bank Accounting, ensuring accurate financial postings and period-end processes.
- Support CO processes such as Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Profit Center Accounting, and basic Product Costing, aligned with business controlling requirement.
- Ensure seamless integration of FICO with SD, MM, and manufacturing processes, supporting end-to-end financial impact of procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, and production activities.
- Gather and analyze finance requirements, participate in fit-to-standard workshops, and translate business needs into SAP functional designs and configurations.
- Prepare test scenarios, execute unit and integration testing, support UAT, assist cutover activities, and provide post-go-live hypercare and issue resolution.
- Support statutory, audit, and internal control requirements, assist in financial reporting and reconciliations, and contribute to continuous improvement of finance processes and system usage.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 6–8 years of experience in information technology with hands-on responsibilities in SAP Finance and Controlling (FICO) within manufacturing or enterprise environments.
- Minimum 4+ years of proven, hands-on experience in SAP FICO project delivery or production support, covering FI (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting) and CO (Cost Centers, Internal Orders, Profit Centers).
- Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance, including integration with MM, SD, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in consultancy.
- “Agile-development” mindset with customer-focus.
