About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide presale support and applications for light commercial unitary equipment
Coordinate with development teams for new and upgrade product offerings
Prepare and deliver product training and strategy to sales personnel
Perform competitive analysis and communicate competitive strategies
Update literature and software related to products
Support pre-sale customer visits to Carrier factories
Become an active member in ASHRAE and/or AHRI
Interpret specifications and discuss with sales personnel, vendors, and Carrier engineering staff

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or technical discipline
5+ years of experience working in a technical field
HVAC industry experience (preferred)
Building controls industry experience (preferred)
Experience with commercial packaged units (preferred)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite
Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills
Ability to coordinate across multiple functions
Composure in high-pressure situations
Strong business understanding
Self-direction and influencing skills
Personality defined by positivity, responsibility, integrity, accountability, and respect
