About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Direct the development of complex projects by identifying, assessing, and structuring technical and financial solutions for our federal customers’ resiliency, energy efficiency, and capital improvement challenges.
  • Possess a strong understanding of a wide range of technology offerings and have the communication and business skills necessary to bridge the gap between the sales, engineering, construction management and O&M groups.
  • Translate customer needs into strategic and technical guidance to the development team.
  • Communicate with Sr Executives within our organization and the customer’s organization to ensure a risk mitigated and customer-centric project.
  • Provide technical/financial support of sales activities.
  • Conduct financial modeling of Energy Performance Contracts.
  • Manage and coordinate the proposal team and conduct reviews.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years’ experience as a project developer, project engineer and/or in project management
  • Due to contractual agreements, must be a US citizen
  • Experience working on Federal ESPC and UESC is a plus
  • Experience in the development of Energy Savings Performance Contract (ESPC) projects and/or Utility Energy Service Contracts (UESC) preferred
  • General engineering knowledge of HVAC, lighting & lighting controls, DDC / pneumatic controls, and building envelope.
  • Experience with Resiliency measures, including onsite generation (PV, CHP, etc.), battery storage, microgrid, a distinct plus.
  • Skilled with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Project, and PowerPoint
  • Strong technical writing skills
  • Sales aptitude and keen business acumen.
  • Strong communication, project management, and team leadership skills
