About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Direct the development of complex projects by identifying, assessing, and structuring technical and financial solutions for our federal customers’ resiliency, energy efficiency, and capital improvement challenges.
- Possess a strong understanding of a wide range of technology offerings and have the communication and business skills necessary to bridge the gap between the sales, engineering, construction management and O&M groups.
- Translate customer needs into strategic and technical guidance to the development team.
- Communicate with Sr Executives within our organization and the customer’s organization to ensure a risk mitigated and customer-centric project.
- Provide technical/financial support of sales activities.
- Conduct financial modeling of Energy Performance Contracts.
- Manage and coordinate the proposal team and conduct reviews.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience as a project developer, project engineer and/or in project management
- Due to contractual agreements, must be a US citizen
- Experience working on Federal ESPC and UESC is a plus
- Experience in the development of Energy Savings Performance Contract (ESPC) projects and/or Utility Energy Service Contracts (UESC) preferred
- General engineering knowledge of HVAC, lighting & lighting controls, DDC / pneumatic controls, and building envelope.
- Experience with Resiliency measures, including onsite generation (PV, CHP, etc.), battery storage, microgrid, a distinct plus.
- Skilled with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Project, and PowerPoint
- Strong technical writing skills
- Sales aptitude and keen business acumen.
- Strong communication, project management, and team leadership skills
