About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Review and assist with plans and specifications to develop HVAC systems solutions.
- Effectively and professionally communicate requirements with customers and internal teams.
- Adapt to customer specific requirements.
- Provide HVAC equipment selections, both new and replacements.
- Provide technical support for the sales of commercial air conditioning systems to customers and their respective consulting engineers.
- Seek new business opportunities by responding to RFI’s, RFP’s, RFQ's for new and/or existing customers.
- Ability to coordinate across multiple functions, to maintain composure in fast-paced situations, and to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Support Sales Managers and Sales Coordinators with new and existing accounts and the introduction of new products.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree.
- 5+ years of HVAC experience.
- Ability to travel up to 5% domestically.
- Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience (preferred).
- 5+ years of HVAC experience including residential, light-commercial and commercial Applied Equipment (preferred).
- Sense of urgency, self-initiative, dedication, and sense of ownership (preferred).
- Strong written and verbal interpersonal skills with the ability to get along with both external customers and a multi-functional team of sales, engineering, manufacturing & marketing associates (preferred).
- Outstanding follow-up and follow-through skills (preferred).
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while also able to prioritize multiple priorities (preferred).
- Unwavering customer service orientation (preferred).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)(preferred).
