About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Operate as a key extension of ALC West leadership, ensuring consistency in execution in the project (s)
Lead execution of a current large, complex, multi-million-dollar project, ensuring alignment with contract, schedule, and customer expectations
Take ownership of project financial performance, i.e., EAC development and forecasting, Cost control and margin protection, Revenue recognition and billing strategy
Provide executive-level oversight on project strategy, risk management, and recovery planning
Act as the primary escalation point for customers, general contractors, and internal leadership
Drive alignment across project teams, including engineering, field operations, subcontractors, and vendors
Step into challenged or high-risk project(s) and lead recovery efforts to bring projects back on track
Establish and enforce best practices in project execution, documentation, and communication
Lead resource planning in coordination with regional and branch leadership
Support critical project phases, i.e., mobilization, first-of-kind startups, commissioning, Customer turnover
Mentor and develop Project Managers and field leadership across the region

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or GED
5+ years of project management experience in Building Automation, HVAC controls, or data center industry
Expertise in project financials, forecasting, and cost control
Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder environments, including general contractors and national accounts
Experience leading cross-functional teams across multiple locations
Experience supporting data center or mission-critical environments
Understanding of commissioning processes (L3–L5)
Experience with ALC systems (WebCTRL)
Proven success in project recovery and turnaround situations
Leadership experience mentoring or developing Project Managers
