About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and deploy global quality policies, procedures, and training.
- Drive cultural transformation and continuous improvement through quality tools and systems.
- Establish and drive performance metrics through clear policies, procedures, and standard work.
- Develop and deliver quality training for site, regional, and global audiences.
- Own the end-to-end quality training portfolio, from content development through global deployment.
- Coach and mentor teams as needed to support Carrier’s Quality strategy and objectives.
- Support tactical quality initiatives, including PFMEA, Quality Clinics, QMS Assessments, Process Certification, and comprehensive product and process audits.
- Develop quality policies aligned with leadership goals and business objectives.
- Coordinate policy deployment across Quality, EH&S, and Operations.
- Build and sustain strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, including Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Aftermarket, Regional Quality, and Product Management, to ensure alignment and execution.
- Provide direct support for critical business needs as required.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Lean Manufacturing experience.
- Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Process Engineering, Operations, or Quality Management within a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in quality management, manufacturing, or engineering, applying quality tools such as APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA, and RCA.
- Proven success applying structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, RCA, A3) with measurable results.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Willingness to travel approximately 30–40%
