About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage and drive progress across the full portfolio of HR compliance projects — maintaining line of sight on timelines, owners, status, and risk.
  • Proactively surface at-risk workstreams and escalate before they become problems.
  • Own the Asana-based project management system and ensure adoption across stakeholders.
  • Serve as the connector between Legal, HR COEs (Compensation, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, HRT, Payroll), and regional HR teams.
  • Ensure that compliance actions identified through legal analysis, regulatory changes, or gap assessments are properly assigned and integrated into each COE's operating rhythm — not parked in a tracking spreadsheet.
  • Support and lead compliance council meetings, maintain reporting mechanisms, and prepare dashboards and executive-ready materials for Compliance Council leadership and executive sponsors.
  • Provide clear, honest reads on program health — not just status updates, but insight into where we're ahead, where we're behind, and what it means.
  • Triage compliance-related updates from multiple sources — legislative changes, audit findings, legal advisories, internal assessments — and route them to the appropriate COE.
  • Engage legal counsel to define requirements and assess risk. Help develop solutions to close gaps and continuously refine the overall program.
  • Develop and deliver compliance-related training, communications, and documentation. Ensure HR teams and people leaders understand their compliance obligations and that the right materials exist to support consistent execution.
  • Stay current on changes to federal, state/provincial, and local employment laws, regulations, and industry best practices across U.S. and Canada jurisdictions.

  • 1+ year of compliance or program/project management

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills — able to manage multiple priorities, synthesize information from disparate sources, and deliver clear outputs
  • Effective communicator who can translate compliance complexity into plain language for diverse audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and drive outcomes in a matrixed environment, working across senior leaders and functional teams without direct authority
