About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Operate as a key extension of ALC West leadership, ensuring consistency in execution in the project (s)
- Lead execution of a current large, complex, multi-million-dollar project, ensuring alignment with contract, schedule, and customer expectations
- Take ownership of project financial performance, i.e., EAC development and forecasting, Cost control and margin protection Revenue recognition and billing strategy
- Provide executive-level oversight on project strategy, risk management, and recovery planning
- Act as the primary escalation point for customers, general contractors, and internal leadership
- Drive alignment across project teams, including engineering, field operations, subcontractors, and vendors
- Step into challenged or high-risk project(s) and lead recovery efforts to bring projects back on track
- Establish and enforce best practices in project execution, documentation, and communication
- Lead resource planning in coordination with regional and branch leadership
- Support critical project phases, i.e., mobilization, first-of-kind startups, commissioning, Customer turnover
- Mentor and develop Project Managers and field leadership across the region
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or GED
- 5+ years of project management experience in Building Automation, HVAC controls, or data center industry
- Expertise in project financials, forecasting, and cost control
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder environments, including general contractors and national accounts
- Experience leading cross-functional teams across multiple locations
- Experience supporting data center or mission-critical environments
- Understanding of commissioning processes (L3–L5)
- Experience with ALC systems (WebCTRL)
- Proven success in project recovery and turnaround situations
- Leadership experience mentoring or developing Project Managers
