About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as the bridge between Technology and business, possessing significant knowledge in both areas.
- Understand the business, identify needs, and envision business solutions.
- Assist in prioritizing projects to ensure alignment with technology that provides maximum return on investment.
- Direct digital technology strategy in support of overall business strategy.
- Partner with key business stakeholders to define and execute a digital strategy that enables P&L objectives.
- Align Digital Technology initiatives with business processes.
- Manage financial planning and budgeting for Digital Technology projects.
- Facilitate executive engagement sessions, bringing a thoughtful intersection between technology and business capabilities.
- Provide broad subject matter expertise in aftermarket business processes and a good understanding of the use of information technology in a strategic roadmap.
- Demonstrate good project management skills and the ability to express complex problems in a non-technical and simplified manner while effectively translating business needs to the technology teams.
- Exhibit numerate and logical approach to work, attention to detail, and excellent analytic skills.
- Be well-organized and able to work on own initiative, prioritize effectively.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years of experience in IT, Digital Technology and/or technology-enabled business leadership
- 5+ years of experience acting as a strategic partner to C-suite executives, navigating matrixed environments to align cross-functional goals with core business objectives.
- Master's Degree (Preferred)
- Proven understanding of the Parts Distribution Model.
- Proven experience in digital technology management, preferably within the parts or manufacturing industry.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with CRM systems, ERP systems, and other digital business solutions is a plus.
