About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own customer relationships and drive account development and financial growth
  • Work closely with assigned OEM accounts and prospects
  • Direct sales and product support
  • Lead generation and follow-up
  • Proposal development and supply agreement negotiations
  • Product selection and specification
  • Sales presentation preparation
  • Applications support and product promotion through formal product demonstrations
  • Complete monthly revenue forecasts and maintain leading sales indicators
  • Execute on account development plans

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 5+ years of Commercial Applied HVAC and/or controls experience
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
  • BA/BS degree; technical/engineering degree preferred (BSCS, BSEE, BSME, BSTMET, BSEET, etc.)
  • Automated Logic product knowledge a plus
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Work well in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Ability to work with people of varied skill and knowledge levels
  • Strong understanding of the fundamentals of HVAC and controls theory
  • Strong understanding of building communications protocols (BACnet, Modbus, N2 Open, and LonWorks)
  • Account sales and management, applications engineering, and/or product support experience preferred
  • Prefer a strong understanding of the fundamentals of TCP/IP, LAN and WAN configurations
  • Prefer proficiency with SalesForce CRM platform
