About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and manage operations programs from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement best practices to streamline operations and reduce costs.
- Work closely with various teams in the IPMT and CIPT, including Sales, procurement, production, logistics, and customer service, to ensure seamless delivery of products.
- Utilize data analysis tools to monitor performance metrics, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to drive decision-making.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating terms and ensuring compliance with service level agreements.
- Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on operations and customer satisfaction.
- Create and maintain project plans, timelines, and status reports, ensuring transparency and accountability across all stakeholders.
- Mentor and train team members on best practices in operations and supply chain management.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years of experience in operations management, with a strong emphasis on supply chain and logistics
- MBA (Preferred)
- Proven track record of managing complex projects and delivering results on time and within budget.
- Supply chain or logistics in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Proficiency in project management tools and supply chain software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
