About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Safeguard and increase revenues with energy utilities (EVUs) through a comprehensive analysis of the market environment (definition of customer- and process-relevant KPIs for the market), including potential assessment/planning and setting medium- and long-term growth targets in the German market
  • Derive actionable recommendations (process and structural adjustments, product and service strategies, pricing and discount systems, development of sales and marketing concepts)
  • Build and maintain networks within the market environment with decision-makers and influencers
  • Structure and expand existing customers (farming) and, where appropriate, convert them into key accounts; generate contacts (lead hunting)
  • Provide direct, personal support for A customers (top-tier accounts)
  • Prepare and conduct negotiations in cooperation with field sales for B and C customers
  • Expand synergies with field sales

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed degree in a technical discipline or business administration
  • Relevant professional experience (minimum 5 years) in sales, ideally in multichannel sales (channel management) or in key account management, including project management
  • Excellent knowledge of the industry and market participants and of evolving business models driven by digitalization (e.g., integrated energy management) in the EVU environment
  • High adaptability to changing market influences on sales concepts
  • Strong process orientation and an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Fluent German and English, with confident negotiation and presentation skills
