About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Operational supplier management for series production (e.g., invoice discrepancies, quality complaints, changes in demand, PCN process)
Ensure material availability including shortage management and an escalation function in coordination with planning/procurement
Implementation of new materials and suppliers from the NPI process into serial production (contracts, prices, terms)
Maintain material and supplier master data as well as relevant planning parameters in the system
Processing purchase requisitions and orders, invoice approvals, and change management with suppliers
Price and contract negotiations with assigned suppliers and implementation of the procurement strategy in coordination with Category Management
Support for tenders, second-sourcing projects, and supplier evaluations including audits

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least a 3‑year vocational qualification in a relevant field, a commercial or business degree, or an equivalent qualification
Good knowledge of materials management and sound commercial/business understanding
Confident user of SAP and common MS Office applications
Experience with document management systems is an advantage
Advanced German and English language skills, both written and spoken
