About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Planning, conducting and evaluating tests on battery modules, battery systems and BMS components
- Validation of electrical, functional and safety-related properties of battery and BMS systems
- Analysis, documentation and tracking of fault patterns and close coordination with development teams for root cause analysis
- Setup, operation and further development of test rigs and test environments for battery and BMS tests
- Ensuring structured test documentation and transparent presentation of results
- Collaboration with internal and external test laboratories and support for approval and release tests
- Support for durability, environmental, abuse and functional tests to ensure product robustness
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in engineering (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering) or equivalent qualification
- Some to several years of experience testing batteries and battery management systems (BMS) and a fundamental understanding of these systems
- Good knowledge in creating and executing test cases and evaluating test results, as well as experience with measuring equipment, test rigs and, ideally, automated test environments
- Structured, independent and meticulous working style
- Strong teamwork and communication skills and a solution-oriented approach
- Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
