About the role

  • Provides technical and financial leadership throughout the sales and proposal process
  • Conducts facility walk‑throughs and evaluates customer needs
  • Develops detailed financial models that assess project and ECM viability
  • Oversees and coordinates a multidisciplinary proposal team, ensuring high‑quality proposal development
  • Ensures risk mitigation and on‑time delivery of all project materials
  • Presents the business case to customers and supports the creation of clear, compelling proposal and presentation content

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 7+ years’ experience in energy engineering, energy project development and/or engineering project management.
  • Experience in development of Energy Savings Performance Contract (ESPC) projects
  • Degree in an engineering or technical discipline. MBA, PE, and CEM are considered a plus.
  • Skilled with Microsoft Excel, engineering calculations, building simulations.
  • Adept in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
  • Strong technical writing skills.
  • Sales aptitude and keen business/financial acumen.
  • General engineering knowledge of HVAC, lighting & lighting controls, DDC / pneumatic controls, building envelope, water/wastewater, and renewable energy systems.
