About the role
- A portfolio of Smart Building digital products, including: Connected services & remote diagnostics
- Analytics & performance applications
- Customer & service-facing digital experiences
- Core digital platform capabilities (APIs, telemetry, identity, integrations)
- Product strategy, investment prioritization, and measurable business impact
- A team of Product Managers responsible for delivery and lifecycle execution
- Set Portfolio Strategy and Drive Revenue Impact: Define and execute a multi-year product vision aligned to recurring revenue expansion, service attach growth, and customer retention.
- Translate strategic priorities into capital investment plans and clear outcome-based roadmaps.
- Own performance metrics including ARR growth, attach rate, adoption, active sites, churn reduction, and margin impact.
- Present business cases and performance reviews for executive leadership.
- Build and Scale a Smart Buildings Digital Platform: Lead platform-first thinking across applications to enable scalability, interoperability, and ecosystem growth.
- Drive API strategy, integration standards, telemetry pipelines, and data product capabilities.
- Balance near-term delivery with long-term platform health and architectural integrity.
- Lead Service-Led Digital Transformation: Develop digital capabilities that improve asset uptime, technician productivity, and customer transparency.
- Partner with Sales and Service organizations to launch scalable, monetizable digital offerings.
- Evolve packaging and pricing models to support subscription-based and premium analytics services.
- Lead and Elevate the Product Organization: Manage and mentor Product Managers; set high standards for discovery, roadmap clarity, and execution rigor.
- Establish strong product operating rhythms (quarterly planning, instrumentation, post-launch validation).
- Build a culture of accountability, customer obsession, and measurable impact.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 12 + years in Product Management, Digital, SaaS, and/ or IoT
- 6 + years directly leading Product Managers
- Master’s degree or MBA (preferred)
- Experience owning or materially influencing revenue and recurring business models (preferred)
- Track record of scaling enterprise digital platforms or connected ecosystems (preferred)
- Strong financial and commercial acumen
- Executive presence and ability to influence cross-functional leadership
- Preferred experience includes: Smart buildings, IoT, industrial tech, HVAC, or asset performance management
- Enterprise integrations (BMS/BAS, CMMS, ERP, field service platforms)
