About the role
- Achieve annual sales, gross margin and market share targets set by management
- Lead and grow assigned territory and business through existing and new accounts
- Identify potential customers and build solid long-term relationships
- Routinely call on and support customers, including Mechanical Contractors, Consulting Engineering firms and Facility Owners/Developers
- Follow-up and close work with customers
- Execute take-offs and quotes
- Promote Carrier’s line card of products, attend trade shows, and marketing events
- Assist with project management duties once the equipment has shipped
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years Commercial HVAC sales or engineering experience
- High school diploma/GED with a minimum of 6 years of Commercial HVAC sales experience
- Valid Driver’s License
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline (preferred)
- Experience with Applied HVAC equipment
- Knowledge of HVAC design and application tools
- LEED AP accreditation a plus
- Extraordinary interpersonal skills and customer focus
- Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience with Salesforce or equivalent CRM
