About the role
- The Digital Leader – Global Operations Climate Solutions Europe reports directly to the Executive Director, Global Functions – Digital.
- Oversee the daily running of digital environments in European factories, ensuring reliability, security, and performance of digital systems.
- Collaborate with the Business Unit CIO and CSE Global Ops leadership to co-develop the technology strategy and roadmap for the business unit.
- Lead the execution of digital programs, from concept to delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives and measurable value creation.
- Act as a change agent, driving digital transformation and adoption of new technologies across factory teams, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Build strong relationships with factory leadership, business unit executives, and cross-functional teams to ensure buy-in and successful implementation of digital initiatives.
- Stay abreast of emerging digital technologies, methodologies, and best practices, and identify opportunities to leverage these for business transformation.
- Ensure digital operational excellence through targeted service levels, timely issue resolution, and continuous process improvement.
- Develop and manage annual digital technology budgets, track performance, and optimize resource allocation.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 12 years of IT management experience, including at least 5 years in senior leadership roles within multinational companies.
- Proven track record in implementing digital solutions (ERP, MES/MOM, APS, factory automation, IIOT, AI, digital twins, cloud technologies) in manufacturing environments.
- Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience leading cross-functional and interdisciplinary teams to achieve strategic goals.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in vendor management and contract negotiation.
- Fluency in English.
