About the role

  • Champion development of fundamentals of Systems Engineering discipline across Carrier including methods and tools
  • Support discipline health assessment and gap closure for the Systems Engineering discipline
  • Lead initiative to define and roll out the overall process flow for platform-based development
  • Facilitate workshops and training to demonstrate robust implementation of the systems engineering workflow and drive adoption of standard work
  • Mentor engineering teams on systems thinking fundamentals and platform-based design methodology

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
  • 10+ years experience in systems engineering, requirements management, and architecture
  • Advanced degrees (MS or PhD) preferred
  • Ability to work part-time while delivering high-impact knowledge transfer
  • Proficiency in SysML, MBSE tools, and requirements management platforms
  • Strong interpersonal and coaching skills
