About the role
- Act as a primary contact to identify prospective distribution and channel management teams and develop a professional relationship to understand the customer needs and suggest products and/or services that meet the customer needs
- Conducts business development activities for distribution and channel management teams within defined customer segments to support the business strategy
- Leads bid opportunities, participates in the preparation of bid responses and negotiation with potential customers
- Developing and promoting new customer contacts leads to the sales business development team
- Proactively supports and develops prospective projects with assigned customers and presents to sales business development team
- Cultivate strong relationships with prospective customers to influence business opportunities and deliver tailored presentations that address their specific needs
Requirements
- Advanced to expert knowledge obtained through advanced education
- Substantial knowledge of Carrier organization, programs or systems to make enhancements within job area
- A minimum of 7 years’ relevant experience OR a university degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years’ experience
- Willingness to travel across Europe
- Fluent English (verbal and written); German is a plus
