About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Refrigeration engineering and further development of refrigerated display cases and cabinets within an international project team
Design, planning, execution and analysis of tests on refrigerated units and components in close cooperation with the project team
Development of system and design concepts for refrigerated units, taking into account performance, energy efficiency, cost, quality and time-to-market
Sizing and specification of components using available software and calculation programs
Collaboration with experts in flow simulation (CFD) and refrigeration-cycle simulation

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in Refrigeration Engineering, Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Thermodynamics or a comparable qualification
Strong understanding of thermodynamic and refrigeration principles as well as excellent analytical skills (calculations, component sizing, evaluations)
Hands-on mentality and enthusiasm for practical development and laboratory work directly on the product
Strong interest in testing techniques and product development
Structured, solution-oriented way of working
Good command of English and German, both written and spoken
