About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Development, analysis, maintenance and further development of PLC programs and control strategies
Ensuring system communication and integration between display cases, multi-unit systems, cold rooms and other components
Participation in commissioning and optimization of new control and regulation systems
Systematic analysis of field issues and derivation of sustainable improvement measures
Interface function between development, project teams and field operations
Preparation and maintenance of technical documentation including version and change management

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed training as an electrical specialist (e.g. electronics technician, mechatronics technician, automation technician) or equivalent
Solid experience in programming and development environments of PLC systems from various manufacturers (IEC 61131-3)
Several years of professional experience (>4 years) in control and regulation technology and communication protocols (CANbus, Modbus, BACnet, etc.)
Experience in software fault analysis and systematic problem solving
Understanding of system integration and communication between different plant components
Knowledge of refrigeration, air conditioning or HVAC systems is an advantage
Degree in electrical engineering, computer science or a related field desirable but not required
Very good English skills (German advantageous but not mandatory)
