About the role
- Own and develop the full product roadmap across product lines and technological solutions, ensuring alignment with CCR’s strategic goals.
- Embed market research and trend analysis into the Product Management organization to anticipate customer needs and industry developments.
- Drive product development projects, ensuring effectiveness, efficiency, and customer-centricity throughout the process.
- Leverage existing product architectures across EMEA and Asia to maximize synergies and make US production lean and efficient.
- Manage the assigned portfolio over the complete product life-cycle, including pricing strategy, phase-in/phase-out of options/products, and complexity management.
- Support sales and communication teams in developing promotional material and concepts.
- Conduct regular product trainings for sales teams and customers; assist in major tender quotations.
- Represent the customer’s voice in coordination with engineering and operations.
- Maintain ownership of product information released across all channels.
Requirements
- Experience managing a physical product line (not software or services), ideally in a dynamic environment close to hardware engineering and factory setup.
- Background in products requiring configuration and/or customization, with exposure to production and distribution processes.
- Technical background (not necessarily a design engineer) with the ability to handle technical questions, regulatory requirements, and testing procedures.
- Ideally, experience in innovation management within a hardware company.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Ability to translate customer requirements into business value and technical specifications.
- Proven ability to drive projects forward and deliver results collaboratively.
- Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for products and the refrigeration market.
- Knowledge of food retail or refrigeration market is appreciated but not mandatory; a strong network into food retail is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; other European languages or Chinese are appreciated.
- Flexibility to travel within the US and to Europe.
