About the role
- Develop, validate, and optimize welding/brazing processes
- Provide daily technical support to production from the brazing side
- Train and mentor welding/brazing personnel; lead trials and qualifications
- Ensure brazing quality: run inspections and drive corrective actions
- Create and maintain documentation for brazing processes and equipment
- Safeguard compliance with PED/UL and all safety standards
- Support tooling and fixture design for welding/brazing
- Use Lean/Six Sigma methods to boost efficiency and cut defect
Requirements
- BSc/MSc in Welding, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related engineering field
- 3–5+ years’ experience in welding/brazing engineering
- Solid English communication skills and fluent Hungarian
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and email systems
- Strong communicator with resilience, analytical thinking, teamwork, and a learning mindset
- Nice to have
- Knowledge of Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) and UL compliance systems
- Experience as a process/manufacturing engineer
- Lean/Six Sigma experience
- 3D design skills (e.g., Solid Edge, AutoCAD)
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA)
