About the role
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of real estate contracts, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, amendments, and closing documents
- Assist with due diligence for commercial and residential real estate transactions
- Coordinate with clients, lenders, and other professionals to ensure smooth closings
- Provide clear legal guidance on transactional matters, including risk assessment and compliance
- Keep abreast of local, state, and federal real estate laws and regulations affecting transactions
Requirements
- JD from an accredited law school with an active New York Bar membership
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in real estate transactional law
- Strong understanding of commercial and residential real estate transactions
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple matters, and meet deadlines efficiently
- Detail-oriented, organized, and professional in client interactions
