About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Independently leads the identification and control of occupational hazards.
- Advises on structural safety, develops and implements safety policies, and manages complex EHS projects and teams.
- Oversees audits, accident investigations, and compliance with regulations.
- Designs safety solutions, delivers training, and maintains contractor and construction management programs.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Four-year college degree in a related safety science field or engineering.
- CSP, CIH, or other professional certificates preferred.
- Graduate-level degree in a related field highly desired.
- Ten or more years of experience in a safety-related discipline, preferably in a heavy manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated experience in leading complex, multi-disciplinary project teams successfully (delivered expected results, on plan, within budget).
- Recognized expert in field.
- Demonstrated experience in leading large, complex, multi-disciplinary EHS projects.
