About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Troubleshoot and root cause machine downtime.
Report issues and create work assignments for the staff.
Review assigned job orders daily and determine work priorities.
Make necessary repairs and adjustments to equipment and completes all assigned maintenance tasks on time and in accordance with company standards.
Perform preventative maintenance tasks in accordance to schedule and standard.
Make major and minor repairs and schedule equipment for repair.
Work with Supervisors to ensure utilization of equipment and rotation schedules.
Inspect equipment daily or as needed for conformance with operational and safety standards.
Submit requisitions for tools, equipment, parts, and supplies required to maintain equipment operations.
Oversee workers and perform human resource and administrative duties, such as hiring, training, and promoting.
Motivating employees, resolving disputes, and conducting performance evaluations.
Create periodic reports, work schedules, employee payroll processing, and budget planning.
Maintain inventory, such as cleaning supplies, tools, and office supplies.
Inspect the building to identify maintenance issues, such as clogged drains, leaky ceilings, and faulty electrical switches.
Other duties as assigned or necessary.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree preferred; or six years related work experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience maintaining conveyance, industrial trucks, automation, and other industrial machinery.
Basic reading, writing, and math.
Schematic/Blueprint reading a plus.
OSHA certified in equipment operation.
Ability to be on call as needed.
