About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Troubleshoot and root cause machine downtime.
  • Report issues and create work assignments for the staff.
  • Review assigned job orders daily and determine work priorities.
  • Make necessary repairs and adjustments to equipment and completes all assigned maintenance tasks on time and in accordance with company standards.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks in accordance to schedule and standard.
  • Make major and minor repairs and schedule equipment for repair.
  • Work with Supervisors to ensure utilization of equipment and rotation schedules.
  • Inspect equipment daily or as needed for conformance with operational and safety standards.
  • Submit requisitions for tools, equipment, parts, and supplies required to maintain equipment operations.
  • Oversee workers and perform human resource and administrative duties, such as hiring, training, and promoting.
  • Motivating employees, resolving disputes, and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Create periodic reports, work schedules, employee payroll processing, and budget planning.
  • Maintain inventory, such as cleaning supplies, tools, and office supplies.
  • Inspect the building to identify maintenance issues, such as clogged drains, leaky ceilings, and faulty electrical switches.
  • Other duties as assigned or necessary.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; or six years related work experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience maintaining conveyance, industrial trucks, automation, and other industrial machinery.
  • Basic reading, writing, and math.
  • Schematic/Blueprint reading a plus.
  • OSHA certified in equipment operation.
  • Ability to be on call as needed.
