About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Prepare and post routine and recurring journal entries to support the monthly close process
Assist with month-end close activities, including reconciliations, variance analysis, and supporting schedules
Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and investigate reconciling items in a timely manner
Support the Accounting Transformation Manager in identifying opportunities to automate, standardize, and improve accounting processes
Partner on the design and implementation of AI-enabled tools, workflows, and reporting solutions to improve efficiency and data quality
Assist with maintaining and improving documentation of accounting processes and controls
Support internal and external audit requests by preparing schedules and providing supporting documentation
Collaborate cross-functionally with AP, FP&A, and other operational teams as needed
Contribute to ad hoc accounting projects and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
1–2 years of accounting experience
Solid understanding of core accounting principles and basic U.S. GAAP concepts
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Proficiency in Excel, including formulas, lookups, and basic data analysis
Interest in learning and applying automation, AI tools, and emerging accounting technologies
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with hands-on responsibilities
Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate and ask questions
Curious, proactive mindset with a desire to improve processes—not just execute them.
