About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide initial handling of support tickets from corporate teams and stores, performing first-level technical diagnosis and routing requests when necessary.
- Provide support for configuration and maintenance of tablets, smartphones, laptops, desktops and other equipment used in operations.
- Configure devices used at points of sale, such as barcode scanners, PIN pads and other peripherals.
- Identify and monitor issues related to the mobile point-of-sale (POS), interfacing with vendors and support teams as needed.
- Perform formatting, system restores, system installations, updates and basic equipment configurations.
- Assist in maintaining local network infrastructure, checking connectivity, cabling and Wi‑Fi operation.
- Prepare and update manuals, procedures and support materials for users and the Tech team.
- Assist in managing technology assets and perform related tasks.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in progress or completed in Information Technology, Systems Analysis and Development, Computer Networks, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Knowledge of Windows, system and driver installation.
- Basic networking knowledge (Wi‑Fi, cabling and connectivity).
- Experience with maintenance, assembly and configuration of desktop and laptop computers is a plus.
- Knowledge of POS systems, ERP and e‑commerce platforms is a plus.
