About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as a technical lead for Workday Benefits configuration, maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives
Support the planning, configuration, testing, and execution of the university's annual Open Enrollment process
Design and implement solutions based on requirements
Review and recommend solution options that maximize Workday functionality
Configure and maintain benefit plans, eligibility rules, enrollment events, life events
Document and execute detailed solution designs
Partner with functional teams and HR Business Analysts to develop test scenarios
Support migration of solutions from test environments to production environments

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
Minimum three years of experience supporting HRIS systems, preferably with a focus on Benefits administration
Experience configuring and supporting Workday Benefits, Open Enrollment, and related reporting tools strongly preferred
Experience supporting Workday HCM or comparable cloud-based HCM platforms required
Experience supporting HR technologies within a higher education environment is a plus.
