About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as a technical lead for Workday Benefits configuration, maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support the planning, configuration, testing, and execution of the university's annual Open Enrollment process
  • Design and implement solutions based on requirements
  • Review and recommend solution options that maximize Workday functionality
  • Configure and maintain benefit plans, eligibility rules, enrollment events, life events
  • Document and execute detailed solution designs
  • Partner with functional teams and HR Business Analysts to develop test scenarios
  • Support migration of solutions from test environments to production environments

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
  • Minimum three years of experience supporting HRIS systems, preferably with a focus on Benefits administration
  • Experience configuring and supporting Workday Benefits, Open Enrollment, and related reporting tools strongly preferred
  • Experience supporting Workday HCM or comparable cloud-based HCM platforms required
  • Experience supporting HR technologies within a higher education environment is a plus.
