About the role

  • Support and participation in the annual IT budget and forecast process in close collaboration with business units and international entities
  • Monitoring and controlling of IT costs and investments at group and country level
  • Assist with IT project cost calculations, including maintaining and updating valuation bases and assumptions
  • Support internal service chargebacks and assist with invoice verification and processing
  • Prepare and follow up on analyses, decision documents and presentations for IT management
  • Contribute to the development of controlling and reporting tools and produce ad-hoc analyses
  • Optional — depending on experience: supportive activities in IT project or project portfolio management (time, cost, quality)

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, or comparable commercial training with a focus on controlling
  • Initial to several years of professional experience in controlling, ideally with an IT focus
  • Basic understanding of IT structures and interrelationships
  • Very confident user of Excel; initial experience with reporting tools is an advantage
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Confluence, MS Project, etc.) desirable but not mandatory
  • Very good German and good English language skills
  • Structured, independent working style and a strong interest in numbers and analysis
