About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Answer, schedule, document and follow-up on inquiries from patients and providers generated by telephone, internet based, or written/electronic correspondence.
  • Educate patients and providers regarding a variety of patient care issues, including, but not limited to insurance, provider, department/location, payment options and availability of Carle services.
  • Obtain, update and verify patient demographics, insurance and co-pays and Primary Physicians.
  • Answer telephone, take and deliver messages to physicians, nurses and others. Report medical information obtained from patients and referring physicians accurately, completely and in a timely manner.
  • Distribute all messages according to practice communication standards.
