About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate the planning, development, and implementation of education for the Unit, Department, or Site
- Provide bedside education to clinical staff and ensure competency through skill validation
- Oversee policy, procedure, and standard development and revision
- Perform routine audits to ensure educational needs are being addressed
- Develop and implement educational programs and activities for new employee orientation and ongoing professional development
- Collaborate with supervisors and managers to address clinical practice issues and documentation trends.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or Certificate of Completion
- Licensed Radiologic Technologist - Radiography - Illinois
- Registered in Radiography (R) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Instructor certification within 3 months - American Heart Association (AHA)
- 2+ years of experience in Radiology
- Basic knowledge of adult learning principles and ability to facilitate learning in a work environment
- Demonstrated ability to perform direct patient care and patient education.
