About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate the planning, development, and implementation of education for the Unit, Department, or Site
  • Provide bedside education to clinical staff and ensure competency through skill validation
  • Oversee policy, procedure, and standard development and revision
  • Perform routine audits to ensure educational needs are being addressed
  • Develop and implement educational programs and activities for new employee orientation and ongoing professional development
  • Collaborate with supervisors and managers to address clinical practice issues and documentation trends.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or Certificate of Completion
  • Licensed Radiologic Technologist - Radiography - Illinois
  • Registered in Radiography (R) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Instructor certification within 3 months - American Heart Association (AHA)
  • 2+ years of experience in Radiology
  • Basic knowledge of adult learning principles and ability to facilitate learning in a work environment
  • Demonstrated ability to perform direct patient care and patient education.
