About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate the planning, development, and implementation of education for the Unit, Department, or Site.
- Provide bedside education to clinical staff.
- Serve as the education resource for all clinical practice issues.
- Oversee policy, procedure and standard development.
- Perform routine audits to ensure education needs are being addressed for staff.
- Develop, implement and lead evidence-based educational programs.
- Participate in unit and specialty specific meetings.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree: Nursing
- Licensed Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA)
